I like the light conversion so much it's the reason I bought the car I did (well partly). I see you've kept the lights in the air intake (the same as mine). I've seen the conversion done where these have been removed.
IMHO, this conversion looks much better than the one where the perspex cover over the lights is removed. The advantage here is that the original lines of the car are retained and you can change the pods back if a potential buyer doesn't like it.
Anyway, nice one Jeffsy

i think that looks great! none of those mods spoil the look of the car in any way IMO, a perfect balance!
i'm not usually a great fan of blended headlamp conversions on Griffs, especially the ones that takes away the clear covering over the front lamps and then blends them into the wings Tuscan style, that completely ruins the look of the car for me as i've always thought that Griffs look their best the way they left the factory!, but this conversion that keep the clear covering are very nice IMO and don't upset the look of the car significantly at all!
those SP wheels are very nice too. they look good on Griffs/Chims particularly IMO!
enjoy it!

Yes totally agree wheels and lights look great makes the griff look more modern without taking anything away from the original design , Fastest colour too i'm not usually a great fan of blended headlamp conversions on Griffs, especially the ones that takes away the clear covering over the front lamps and then blends them into the wings Tuscan style, that completely ruins the look of the car for me as i've always thought that Griffs look their best the way they left the factory!, but this conversion that keep the clear covering are very nice IMO and don't upset the look of the car significantly at all!

Wheels are definitely the thing and when we can't get tyres anymore, then that will be the way I'll go. Headlamp conversion keeps the essential character of the front end though my preferred is the 7" SE conversion. Quad pipes? Well maybe not so much, but I guess necessary with everything you've had done under the bonnet. As above, blue would be faster!

Jeffsy, your car looks stunning mate.
The SP12's have defo grown on me (was originally looking for a simple, flat faced wheel more in keeping with the Estorils) just a shame they are so damn expensive. My pockets were looking to sort a wheel / tyre package in the 7-800 quid region so these are a good bit over that.
Thing is, they are one of only a few wheels in the correct sizes and specs for the Griff's odd front / rear combination. I recently had a full ProTech Suspension install done (cracking by the way!) so would hate to waste it with ill fitting wheels. You had Proxes fitted with them? What sort of tyre pressures have you had recommended?
Not decided which way to go yet, not sure the Bank Manager will permit it?

If my dog had conkers like that I'd have it castrated!
And after all the possitive contributions I've changed my mind; . . . . I'd have it shot!Right, let me see. . . . Yell.com and V for Vet!
.I'm still undecided on the wheels,i think they look a bit 'busy' for a griff, which usually suits more simple designs.Oh,and yes,in blue it would definately look better

Each to their own and all that though,as already said
