Is the 72mm mod something that can be done on a standard 3.9 plenum?
I have a spare one and just measured the inlet and the O/D is only just under 73mm ,hence my question.

Yes but a sleeve is fitted to the outside first to reinforce what would be a bit thin

Ive bored one out to 71mm myself. First thing you do is cut the original neck of, then after boring you need to fit a sleeve on the end for the feed. I could of gone slightly bigger, but i stopped at 71mm as it seemed "right".

Yeah, but is it a worthwhile mod, or would a lot of other stuff have to be modified as well? I'm running a TVR 390 on Megasquirt. Would this require bigger injectors to get any benefit?
