Hi. I need some help here.. I going to get a 1989 Ferrari from Germany and has anyone have any info on the Tax's The car is registered in germany and the guy said all taxes have been paid.. Can anyone give me any advice what i should be asking and the guy prooving...

You will not need to pay any further taxes in the UK when you buy secondhand in Germany. The owner will need to take the registartion off the car and get tempory Z plates(transfer plates) for you to bring the car to the UK and register it here. You will need all the German documents to produce at DVLA(make sure you get htese back as if you sell back to Germany later they will be required) to get the car registed in UK also you will need to have the car MOT'd once here.
Not done this for a while but it was fairly painless in the past.
