I know it's the good old Daily Wail but.....

Driver ate spaghetti and steered with knees

Also note the comment down the bottom about a blind man being done for DUI.

I've heard the expression blind drunk before but yikes

I steer with my knees on occasion... if I'm quickly taking a jumper off or something like that. However, eating a meal is just taking the piss

Apparently his lorry was seen being driven erratically and crossing the white line. I wonder what made him stand out?

I remember Chris Tarrant responding to a question about how a driver on the M25 who was seen to be shaving with one hand whilst holding a sandwich in the other was steering. CT suggested he was "a clever dick".

I am sure that many of us at some time in our driving life have struggled out of a jacket, anorak, etc. on a winter's morning after the interior of the vehicle has warmed up. Sometimes we might have been stationary, but there will have been others when we were moving along, occasionally "briskly".

As to "taking a pi55", the cars in the World Cup Rally to Mexico were provided with a funnel and a hole in the floor to ease the process.

Not being pasta it and being careful not to tripoline over it, I thought I'd stringozzi some words together to say, don't blow a fusilli, orzo you might gnocci a hole in your radiatore, which could be mezzi (bombardoni).

Apologies for how tortiglioni that was - Streaky

No, not much. They shouldn't be on the roads in such large numbers. Railways should be improved to take freight and local deliveries from stations should be done in smaller more agile vehicles. As a minimum they shouldn't be allowed to overtake on uphill and other selected sections -- like the no lorry overtaking stretches on German roads.

Too many killer lane change moves and elephant races lasting sometimes tens of miles for my liking. And the "I'll kill you rather than let off" attitude some of them have.

The trouble is supermono is to ship anything by railway costs a small fortune (thats the reason why the royalmail came off the trains and onto the roads). That cost increase gets pass onto the consumer, I can't see that happening. Your idea about using smaller more agile vehicles, will cause more congestion and increase cost again.
Instead of having one 44 tonne on the loading bank you could have (using 7.5 tonne as an example) One on the bank and six vehicles outside (maybe depending on size of loading area) it will create longer queues.
The elephant racing is caused by the use of governors, Congestion engineering in it's finest. I think we can safely say they won't stop the lorry overtaking (they want to charge all of us for using the roads). I have also seen an increase with some cars drivers who pace the lorries.
They speed up as the lorry overtakes, then when the truck has to pull back in the car slows down again. It must be some new kind of sport rolleyes. I'm not knocking you supermono, I'm just trying to show you, whats happening from the other side

The driver in the OP was obviously a Pastafarian, and was engaged in an act of worship. As such, no action should be taken as this would be a repression of his right to a deeply-held belief.

Nope, not joking. Obviously not an everyday occurence but the removal of a jumper is quite easy when you know how.

Gather the jumper up to your neck level. Reach behind head and quickly pull jumper over head. Now take jumper off arms one at a time. Come to think of it you don't need to remove both hands from the wheel to do it.

No worries.
