If you are asking as you want to take it on a track - I know its less than 101 as there was one at Bedford last weekend and thats the limit there.

Not sure if that helps you!

With the monitor at (I think) 1m and 45 degrees @ 4500rpm, it is a fraction under 100dba.

Went to brands hatch to get the car tested back in May

at 5000 revs it was 96.5db
with the sports button on it was 96.8db

at 8000 revs with the sports button reading was 98db
This was with the car stationary of course

Hi smile

Umm that test is meant to be done at HALF a metre, and 45 degrees to the exhaust and level with the ground....NOT one metre... smile

All the best Brett smile

It's wierd isnt it... All circuits use different methods and all days give different readings. It's a load of boll** really, in most cases the people who complain moved into the area after the race track was built and then complained about noise. If you don't like it, don't buy a house near a racing track, DUH!

Well I guess we have to be careful Bund, don't want to get caught out on our day!
