Absolutely shocking that he was convicted based on a document they had no proof was even filled in by the driver! If that's not reasonable doubt, then I have no idea what is!

The same story is now on Ananova, and I'm lost for words at this bit:

"Crown Court Judge Humphries said: 'I am sure Dwight Yorke was driving. I have concluded that a defendant, if not guilty, would have come to court and gone into the witness box.'"

Talk about guilty until proven innocent! Just goes to show that all of our rights go straight out of the window when it comes to motoring offences.

Just read the ananova report and am gobsmacked at the highcourt judges comments.

He has just undermined and waved away the whole British legal system and the 1000 or so years of its existence.

Fcuk me this really is bubblegum-goo-goo land isn't it.
