....only managed 100 miles so far. Excellent so far but still running in etc so haven't given it what it deserves yet. Very stable and solid. Looks much better in the metal than in the photos.

Agree about them looking better in real life,I thought they were pig ugly in pics till i saw one on the street, freshly driven out a showroom by the looks of things. It was gleeming jet black,it looked stunning,a lot sleeker, lower than it looks in pics i thought. One hasn't appeared in my garage yet though?I'll have to get that sorted!phone"Yes Mr.Bank manager, you were a prick last month but i've got over that."

yes, they are much lower in real life, very sleak. Mine is Diablo Black, metallic. I had the standard silver wheels powder coated in black aswell before I picked the bike up - looks very tasty.

I've ordered some M4 pipes (2 slip ons) that are half the length of the standard pipes and sound great.

Here is a video & sound clip:

Have to admit i thought seriously about one befor i got my 10.

I rarely have a passenger and it was a bit bigger in the flesh than i thought. But great bike, it deinatly needs the pips replaced.

Nice bike hope you enjoy.

p.s. the 10 will still blow it away. teacher

Enjoy.

I've a black one too which I picked up about 2 months ago. I'm really impressed with it, particularly handling, braking and allround silky smoothness all of which feel far ahead of my much loved ZX-12. Like you, I can't wait to see what it can do once run in...

... I've a feeling we'll see it in a very different light...!

Lovely! I've always liked the M4 pipes and they look and sound great on the ZZR. I'm even coming round to those side louvre jobbies on the bike! biggrin

Those M4's sound great, maybe just a tad too loud for some tastes.

Seem to be a lot of guys on the US forums doing a single pipe conversion which save a shed load of weight. Not sure if thete are any great gains in performance. Prob save a bit in cost mind.

when my neighbour first saw my bike last week, the first thing he said was how cool the side slats look! He's not a biking guy but clearly they're subjective. On a black bike I hardly notice them and I actually think they look quite integrated.
