I read somewhere that there was an official TVR fix to stop so much hot air entering the cab with the blower off. It involved a a foam pad and new flat design. Does anyone have a:

a) a written description of what to do?
b) pictures showing what is shoudl look like?
c) any idea where to get the parts or how to make them myself?

I love the windows down but it's a problem when it rains. Any help appreciated.

I believe you just blank off the hot air feed on the (I think) passenger side wing so it only re-circs hot air and doesnt take any in. It also means the heater is more effective.

I've got "Hot air ambient air flow plugs" in mine.

I don't know if the firm is still around as the receipt is from July'04; they promise to reduce hot air by 50%+ and were £9.99.

They fit the Cerb's with the multiple hole air vents - not the later version.

Just tracked the website down - www.uncletoms.co.uk

Hope you get some, took me 30 mins to find that lot - wink

Donny

Thanks for your help

I called the garage and they remember the job but don't do this type or work any more. I don't suppose you have a pucture of what these vents look like and where/how they are fitted.

Also, do they work well?

APM can sort for you I am sure (not that blocking off air vents is great work though!).
