Now then, my Griff owners manual (I still love the comment on torque to weight ratios)) tells me that fuse for the wipers also operates the main beam flash (1999) but guess what it doesn't. The main beam flash works ok. However, the wiper jet motor doesn't work either.

I know these cars are wired up depending on the mood of the electrician/state of the moon/ price of saffron. Anyone have an inkling where I should look? Otherwise I'll have to pull out each fuse in turn

It could be the motor giving up the ghost I suppose but it's just been looked at and with the jets not working either do I have a system where they have both been wired together? Are they run via relays or direct feeds?

Do you believe that wiper motor and screen wash pump share a common fuse?

Can't say for sure but i have no wipers and i can't hear the jet pump, but what I've found out so far doesn't quite match with the manual (or the bible come to that). I'll have a good check of all fuses tomorrow.

Are you saying that your wipers work when switched on, but dont work when you pull the wash/wipe lever (and neither does the washer pump)?

Yes sort of, I have neither wipers or jets. When I pull the stalk back for wiper jets I don't hear the "whhirr" noise of the motor (and no water comes out). I'm sure it's fuses, just a case of finding them

Do your wipers work if you switch them on by themselves? (Blood out of a stone or what!)

At the risk of repeating myself, the motor isn't whizzing. I doubt it's the motor itself so assume it's a fuse or relay or similar. My queries where regarding the odd electrics of TVR.

So no the wipers don't work if I switch then on by myseelf. I got my girlfriend and my mistress to try the same and they say hi but still no motion lol. Oh well, off to bed wink
