Le Mans 2008 tickets

Hi all,

I want to get my tickets booked early so I don't end up in beasjour again as it is a bloody nightmate to treck to the circuit etc!!

So which companies can I book through just tickets?? or someone else?

I've used MRI since 1996...good service but EXPENSIVE! Like £900 for two. This covers everything including a hotel for three days, though. A long way from the Beaujour experience. R.

I'm not going for a hotel as its too expensive! There will be about 10 cars in our group so wnt to camp but want a campsite near the village i'e houx or houx annexe.

Any ideas?

www.teamlangoustine.com are now taking bookings, I know cos I've booked my 2008 already.

We used Team Lobster (http://www.teamlangoustine.com/index.html) twice now and Andy is very helpful when required.

We stay in Houx, best site as they have standing power so no need for a generator and is about 10 to 20 minutes to various parts of the track (between the Porsche curves and Dunlop Bridge), and more importantly about 15 minutes to Terte Rouge Bar

Hi,

I very recently joined in an attempt to get confirmed dates for next year. I'm living in South Africa and would like to combine a trip to the UK along with the weekend at Le Mans but have read a number of concerns about the venue now and plus I shall have to convert my Rands into either Euro's or Sterling how much are entrance tickets as it would be for both myself and my wife?

I'd very much like to get more info. before committing to going and finding that it's going to cost as much as flights from Johannesburg to London.

Please can you help and/or re-direct my question?

In answer to the previous 2 questions, the ACO will take bookings now, but won't confirm the price or dates until January 2008.

All prices can be found on http://www.lemans.org but from memory entry tickets are around €50.

€61 they were this year or €55 with group discount.

e-mail, phone or fax, but don't expect to get the good grandstands or campsites as they'll all have been reserved by now. To be certain of getting what you want, you need to have done this before this year's race, I'm afraid.

It might not be, but it often is - at least the grandstands like the ACO, Dunlop etc plus MB campsite and a couple of the other popular ones. No problems otherwise though.
