Some of the lovely Brits decided to scale the wire-fence in the paddock at 5:00am on Sunday morning and attempted to steal 2 bikes from the Rollcentre paddock area(along with those from MenX).

Having retrieved one of the bikes, Martin's is still missing - it's a grey 2004 era Specialized Stumpjumper Enduro with black Marzocchi forks and a bunch of high-end Hope brake and Shimano transmission kit on it. It also has a bunch of BRDC stickers on it...

I built that bike up for Martin and it has a degree of sentimentality for all of us. If anyone has any info on its whereabouts, please contact Rollcentre directly from their website.

Thanks

Lensey

Out of order though it is, how do you know it was Brits that stole it? I hope you get it back from whatever scum stole it anyway!

One that was caught by the security guards unfortunately turned out to be one of our fellow Countrymen. Sad though it is for me to say.

Not in the same league, but two years ago, I took my hat off to take a photo in the pitlane, went to pick it up again and it had gone...

Hope the bike turns up.

On the otherside of the coin I noticed a bloke drop his entry and grandstand tickets in the pit lane walkabout. And before they floated away in the river of water I grabbed them and gave them back to him. He took some convincing that they were his but took them in the end!

Made me feel like a nice bloke that did. Mind you I wonder what I could have sold them for....
