you missed off the rather fetching chain guard 
Like bikes but let down by a poor engine 
My new bike arrived Greg and its got a big chip in the paintwork. Gutted. Sat home all day waiting for it and then this.
Oh and bast*rds didn't even set the shocks up for me as promised. I hate mail order - would never have got it this way if I had a choice (that cycle to work thing forced me to mail order from leisure-lakes in the North)
Was going to go out on it tonight, having gone and bought a shock pump (grrr) but now I can't until I get the damage sorted.

Its annoying that its such a nasty chip to the paint too, as I want to keep the bike nice so I can sell it on if I get into the sport and upgrade. It also looks like a tool mark to me, so I think it was done during assembly and the guy thought he'd ship it out anyway and hope I didn't care.

Which one did you go for in the end?
Mine had one or 2 dinks in it, but as it was a very kind favour from a fellow Nobler, I just kept stum!
TBH, after you've thrashed it through mud and rocks and fallen off a few times, you won't care about the chip!! I also doubt if you ever expect to sell it for much, it'll have depreciated by half as soon as you opened the box!

TBH, after you've thrashed it through mud and rocks and fallen off a few times, you won't care about the chip!! I also doubt if you ever expect to sell it for much, it'll have depreciated by half as soon as you opened the box!

Well there is that, but its all shiney! Its like getting a new car with chips in it. Even though you know it will get battered over time, there no reason to expect it to come like that new! Its about a 1cm long tool gouge through the paint just above where it says FSR on the rear arm.Mine had one or 2 dinks in it, but as it was a very kind favour from a fellow Nobler, I just kept stum!

I went for the one I was planning all along as the fellow Nobler never did get back to me. That'll teach me to sell the car!
