Doing it next week, yes I am with Yamaha up the road - Tuesday to Thursday and test in Friday. Why are you thinking of doing it? I'll give u my number if you want - or failing that I could always take a 3 min walk over your way...

Did it two years ago mate, with the place next to infinity in Farnborough. Did my CBT on a Saturday, had lessons Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and passed my terst on the Thursday.

Hadn't even sat on a motorbike prior to that, loved it but was absoloutly knackering.

Bought a Kawasaki Z750 off another forum member (hertsbiker) a couple of weeks after I passed and haven't looked back.

When you get a bike we'll have to go out.

Any idea what your going to get yet?

Yep, absoloutly nothing! I don't intend to ever buy a bike, I am just doing to open up other career avenues and I should be able to do all my riding at no cost in work time... However If I do ever get a bike (unlikely) I will let you know...

LOL - was that you with me today - how did you know? It is fine, I am very pleased with my progress considering how little riding I have done. We are just trying to perfect things now, test is in 2 days so pretty much there. This morning I couldnt even do a U turn without putting feet down, losing balance, but by the afternoon it was fine. Those guys at Yamaha are fantastic... only 2 of us and one instructor...

Thanks - just don't feel the desire to go and buy a bike. Apart from the fact I can't afford one I am still more interested in 4 wheels. We must meet up some time, silly talking over the net when your next door...
