cannot seem to find the "cock up by the ACO" thread ?

Surprised that i cannot see loads of PHers complaining about the ACO (sponsored by Audi??) sending out safety cars throughout the race ? Surely one of the features of 24 hour racing is that you have to cope with all circumstances and conditions ? It would have been of great advantage to the GT1 and Gt2 classes to carry on in the wet conditions.
Spoilt the weekend i feel ( apart from the rain).

There were 4 safety cars over 24 hours. There were the same in the Canadian GP and that's only 1.5 hours. Not that bad!

According to Rollcentre the race cars couldn't actually go any faster than the safety car itself such was the standing water on the circuit. Mulsanne straight was 50mph in complete blindness so I hear. Cars were apparently uncontrollable and aquaplaning everywhere.
