How come Adam Derbyshire's Prosport has won 5 races out of 6 this year against loads of SR3s? I thought the SR3 was supposed to be so much faster, also, the Prosports are looking more reliable judging by the results.

Dear Doc,
I think there a few reasons why Adam has proven to be so dominant in the Radical Enduro Championship:
1) He has driven impeccably during each of the races, his pace has been measured and he has made few errors. He is familiar and comfortable with the car and has driven it at times to its absolute limit at speeds faster than those recorded in previous years.
2) The car has been very reliable, the team understand the car fully and have good baseline data for honing the setup. Testing time is therefore focussed on extracting the last few tenths rather than 'getting close' to the pace.
3) The leading SR3 cars have not had continuity to their driver pairings, and have experienced the inevitable 'teething' troubles associated with campaigning a new car. (Look at the first few races of the F1 Championship each year, where it is not unusual to see leading Teams campaigning last years model or even a hybrid car).
4) The SR3 drivers are learning the setup and challenges of the new car, I think that the improved pace shown by Tim Greaves, Simon Moulton, Neil Riddiford and Jay Shepherd illustrate this.
In summary I had not fully expected the level of success that Adam and the IN2RACING team have enjoyed thus far in a Prosport and I have no doubt that things will get steadily harder at the front.
I note that you hail from Northamptonshire and hope that you will be coming to the race at Silverstone on 31st May / 1st June to see the spectacle for yourself.
