If it is a non-x50 then I think 0.7 is about right.

DMS come recommended for a re-map.

Well, it seems as if hes been around or lurking for 82 months so I cant see him going anywhere too soon.

Eta. Which is longer than everyone else who has posted in this thread so far - put together!

Silent type?

Not in person... hehe

Hi Matt, as I said at loton - DMS.
That car is going to take your license, I promise you.

Edited to add: Saw the classifieds of a random magasine yesterday (cant think of the name) - Simon Bridge looks to be selling up?

Ok straight answer, only you know if you want to chip it. Do you want to?

If you aren't happy with the present level of performance, then do it. remember that should your engine go byebye, Dr Ferdy won't want to know. Yes Revo and I'm sure several others say their remap is undetectable - but I can't imagine that if the propellor heads got their hands on the ecu (after a warranty claim) they wouldn't be able to figure it out. That's the thing you're going to have to make a decision about. Chip it (for roughly £2k) and break the 500hp/torque barrier. But break it as a result, and well... $$$

On the positive side, the car has a whole load more power to give up quite freely, and I don't know of anyone who has buggered their TT, from adding a basic remap.

Fancy a game of russian roulette??

It'll take 1 Bar easily and feels great for it. The REVO map can come with a gizmo that you can set the map back to standard in 30 seconds if you wish. You can also set a valet mode etc. I had Fearns and Co do mine and was very happy.

Thank you all for your advice. I probably will chip at some point. Loving it as standard and its fairly nippy, but if I could get more with out blowing it up it seems a shame not to!

Boost pressure is variable according to atmospheric pressure/engine requirements, a maximum of around 0.8 bar on the digital read out!
Best way to get around 20 extra horses, faster Turbo spool & more interaction with the car (read better sound!) is a sports exhaust, less likely to affect re-sale or engine reliability, but not chaep as they include cats!

Also make sure you get your Diverter Valves done aswell , the standard ones will fail you if you add more power...

Interesting. Mine have yet to do so, although I don't do too many miles. (A fair bit less than 1k since having it fitted).
