225 50 15's... I need new boots on the wedge.

Does anyone know if z-rated 225/50/15 is still being made by any tyre manufacurer?
Apparently, for replacing the rear I bought the last two Potenza S03 tyres left in North America according to the satelite linked database of tyre shops here. It seems nobody makes that size anymore.
Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement?... or the same size?

Well I found these... not quite z-rated for speed, but OTOH, if I want to go really fast,
my rx-7 is better suited to it.

just gone through a set of rears in 3000 miles since November 
Ditto the 30000 mile bit. SO3 superb in all. Pocket started to complain after so many 3000 worn outs so went on to Toyo which I found nearly as good but a tendency to spin when the SO3 wouldn't. Now on Falkens. Cheap and do the job as well. Impressed with them and get around 8000 out of them.

I use these on the wedge, and i bought them again this year to replace the....er...shiny rear ones!
I got 8000 miles out of my last ones, god knows how though! My ones on there at the moment are looking a little low already!!!
I think these are a good tyre, dont cost the world, look nice and are relitively guilt free when doing sideways action!!!!

3000 to 8000 miles out of a pair? OUCH!
I have to ask, is that from doing burnouts, drifting sideways through corners, track days etc,
or are they just that soft?
I've already put 1/10th the entire milage of the previous 7 owners (7000 mi. out of 71K)
and the front 2 boots are still at 50% tread.

Mine and Jeffs motors are putting out a lot more than original that's true, so you might get a bit more

I think pulling away at junctions briskly causes most of the damage as you have to be really cautious not to do sideways 11's on the road

They're only V rated, but they seemed to take 140 mph no problem at all this evening.
They were pretty cheap too...only $700 for all four, mounted, balanced and installed.
I would have bought only 2 for the front but the shop was pretty adamant that I do all four for
better and more precdictable handling, so I did, and kept the Potenza SO3's for spares.
I'm no rubber guru that's for sure, but after a week of driving on the Potenza's I'd have to say they
handle just as nicely on dry roads. I didn't even bother to compare the road noise since the wind rush with the top down at 100mph is deafening anyhow.
