Fax/scanner/printer combo

We are looking for a new combo printer as our current Brother unit refuses to print colour anymore.
I'm drawn to the HP combos as amongst other things they have ethernet connectivity and from the bumpf ive read you can use the scanner over the network, not just the printer.
What im really curious about, is whether any of these combos (not just HP) can be set to 'email' to a local computer or store the received fax and not inititally print it out? We get a lot of spam faxes (water coolers or finance vehicles) and they are a waste of paper/ink. if we could 'vet' faxes on a screen before printing that would be a bonus.
Does anybody know of such a unit. Are there any combos people recommend (to buy or steer clear of).
(I had considered using a fax modem linked to a PC running fax software to do the above, but that would stump some people in the office when they need to send a fax. Plus we need a scanner and colour print capabilities.)

Just got a mail shot from www.ijtdirect.co.uk and they are doing a 'free' brother if you spend £85 on ink carts. I don't know if it is any good though!
I still prefer to have my Fax as a separate unit, they are not expensive and it will give you more choice of Printer/Scanner Combos.
