Theres a 964 RS for sale at 50 K !!!
Discussion
The market decides these things, Tim!! LOL.
I think it makes Mk2 996 GT3s outstanding value. It also indicates the rising values of 964 RSs which marks them out as future classics.
People were saying the same thing when the 993 RS became more valuable than GT3s. There are non-CS LHD 993 RSs for sale for 99,000 euros now. Glad I got in when I did.

Specialist cars of Malton charge way over the odds IMO, always have done.
Who in the right mind will shell out 50k for 964RS?
Stevie Wonder?
They probably said the same thing about 1973 RS prices! Interesting debate though.Who in the right mind will shell out 50k for 964RS?
Stevie Wonder?

serious question to everyone... do you think that the 996.5/997 gt3s WILL be looked at as if they were an 'RS' or do you think that the mk1 996 gt3 will actually be the car to become the classic, with it being produced in lower numbers and because it was porsche motorsport built?if not then 996.5 gt3s are an absolute bargain from what i have seen..!
Good Mk1s are already the same price as Mk2s... tell tale sign me thinks... that thread on PH a while back about who owned what GT3... Mk1s were the most popular on PH, but how many of their owners will be selling? Far less than those in the Mk2 looking to move on to the next great thing according to the classifieds...

I've always said (and STILL say) Mk1 owners are different from Mk2 owners - the choice to buy a Mk1 instead of a Mk2 is something a Mk2 owner rarely understands... (yes, we're all mad/stupid/crazy

the karmin rot one's usually go for about 5-10% less than a 'less controversial hue' don't they..?Jamie Summers said:
