Just got my hands on a lovely red Gti-6, im pretty good nick for the year.

I'm wondering whats the best way to go about getting it really mint before it goes on the road. The areas I've though abotu so far are

- Wheels - good nick, not kerbed, shiny on outer surface but the inside faces are disgusting.

- Body - good, lots of advice available, bought a clay kit, will have a go at that.

Theres no stonechips on the bonnet, however my last car was the same and I managed to ruin that, presumably by doing lots of driving on m-ways. How can I stop it occuring to my currently chip free bonnet/bumper?

- Arches - take wheels off, jetwash/scrub, perhaps give any metalwork a coat of fresh black paint. Clean crap out from seams with a brush. Best way to protect the inner arches? Waxoyl?

- Brakes - paint calipers shiny black. whats the best paint to use?

- Moss. The seals round the sunroof and windows have gone a bit grey, and the testured soft areas have bits of the horrid green furr on them. what do I do about that? When new it would have been a lovely glossy black, soft textured material.

Seats - Leather + alcantara-suedey stuff. The leather is in good nick, but a bit shiny.
What do I clean the suede with, and how can I de-bobble the front seats? The back is lovely and smooth, the drivers looks like an old sweatshirt.

What things am I missing? Specific things, that I can do to really make my car standout as being in good nick? I think I've got a very good base to work on considering the age, more so than my last car, so would like to go to town a bit.
