Another S3 mystery switch...

My S3 has got electrically heated door mirrors, I know this because I had the tricky job of refitting one after it worked loose the other week....after removing the glass I discovered wires etc.....now that left me pondering how you turned them on cos' all my switches were accounted for...well so I thought.

No doubt the entire S ownership already knows this but I discovered that if you press that square toggle button that switches from one mirror to the other...the mirror glass warms up...wow..

PS On my next Trans-Siberian hoon they should be most useful.

PPS I could be wrong on this...I was stuck in traffic and bored...If I held the little joy stick down the mirrors seemed to get warm...When I got home I tried to make head or tail of the wiring diagram but to no avail. If anybody could confirm how the heated mirrors work..great!

I can see wires in the mirror surround, but assumed they just weren't connected to anything.

Oooh heated mirrors. My mirrors move in a fashion on my S3 but will check out the heated part.

If you see a new thread called 'New wing mirrors for S3 needed' you know the suckers blew up
