anyone got access to a glasses guide? are TVR's eve in the glasses guide? i'm interested in how much Chims are listed for, i'm guessing a lot less than the tvr dealers/indies are offering?

I don't believe that TVR are listed. There's simply so much variability between good and bad examples that year/mileage is a very poor second place to condition.

yeah parkers were well out on the Passat compared to Glasses and as every trader i visited users glasses it proved a waste of time

I found this site http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk while idly surfing for car related sites last night. It purports to give mileage-adjusted proces for 400s back to 1995 and 450s and 500s from 1997. Not sure if it's of any value though.

Cus based on the last one i had dealings with their trade value isnt too wide of the mark (on the high side!)

trader value is pretty acurate, but the private price is £500 more LOL i'd expect to lose that on a haggle, so private and trade the same! thats a no brainer then
