Can 996 TT stainless steel pipes be retro-fitted?

Is it possible to replace the standard exhaust pipes on a 996 TT with the stainless steel ones retrospetively? I understand that they were purely cosmetic and provided no performance / sound enhancement.

If so, any idea how much this would cost?

Yes they can be retrofitted.

www.carnewal.com have them on sale at 495 euros plus shipping and you'll need to get someone to fit them.

Thanks for that - it says 'Factory part' which I guess means what it says on the tin. Does that mean that I could also purchase from an OPC - and they would fit?

Yes an OPC will supply and fit the exhaust tips.
