Alternative Griffith door mirrors anyone?

I notice these alternative door mirrors fro the Griff whilst looking at "Clever Trevor's" web site for something else, anyone got any experience of them, or indeed opinions on them? For £340 + painting they are expensive but then again mine will need respraying soon anyway and I thought they were rather in keeping with the design of the Griff and may freshen it up a bit? Rich...

I was thinking about those mirrors and trying to figure out where they had come from - it came to me on the way to work this morning, they look like the new MX5 mirrors.
Griff 500SEs have Tuscan wing mirrors (I think VW?) which are aesthetically not as nice as the Griff originals, but boy do they give better rearward and especially rear 3/4 vision.

Heard from my Dutch dealer that they were making Sag mirrors for the Griff/Chim.

I'm about to fit the raceproved/clever trevor mirrors to my V8S .. I hate the std fit Citroen mirrors anyway and my driver's mirror is vibrating a lot because the monkey metal mounting is about to fracture through (a common problem on stiffly sprung cars) .. the RP/CT versions are much better glass area from what i can see and have a sturdy mount so that will help me a lot

I have them in my workshop now .. they've been fitted to griffs and chims already but not the S series so will have to see if it's a straightforward swap like on the other two models.
