What would your reaction be if I turned up at the Amber Hotel in this:

I'd think you had a really nice car, but with horrible red seats...

You'd have to change your user name.

It's very, very nice, and somehow I can imagine that the red seats look better in the flesh. Shame the dash is a wishy washy grey, needs something to contrast.

So, have you done the deed, or seeking our approval?

That numberplate must be worth a few quid.

Its the same car as my dads so I'd say its a good'un. Although I can't understand why it has an XKR bonnet on when its not an XKR, although it could be but why the smaller wheels?

Looks nice! Like the interior.

Ah, is that an 'R' badge I spot under the indicator.

SOrry for being so quizical, its just the wheels don't like like the ones that came on an XKR.

Not bought it yet. Hoping to go and view it next week. Not convinced that I could live with the interior. I am pretty sure its a custom job as I couldnt find another with a red interior. Its £27k which seems to be franchised dealer money rather than an independent garage.

Stratstone Jaguar in Derby have this one which I prefer:

I would have to do some really slick negotiating to get it within my budget though. Its 32k and my budget is 30k tops. I guess it depends what it stands them in their books.

I think I saw the one at Derby Jaguar today as I drove past. It was outside the showroom and was just like the one in the picture, but it had bright red calipers. That's the one, it was stonking!

The black one looks a lot better. Is the first one a proper XKR then? Or an 8 with some R bits?

Do you know if the plate (1 PMW) is for sale? (I see it's now on a S-type since June. I would love you get in touch with the owner).

Looks good cool

Are you sure the plate doesn't belong to the dealer? Just looking at the dealers name and the plate and put 2 and 2 together...
