993 C2 Cab - any good and what to watch out for
Discussion
I live in Sydney, having just come over from dear old Blighty... and need to buy myself a toy for the weekend. The 993 Cab seems a good choice... its the same price as many other reasonably good cars of that type in that money bracket, but I get the impression you get more thrills, its more of a purists driving car and despite the interior of it being dated, it still looks reasonably modern sat next to other sports cars of that ag . Want a Cab, to enjoy the weather, but understand the Coupe far better. Hear lots of good things about them, actually prefer them aesthetically IMO to the some what bland 996, and several people have said are far better mechanically.
But those of you on here who know much more about them than I do... I need pointers in terms of what to watch out for when buying (I've seen a 95, that's done 62,000 miles, in white, and a 97 that's done 77,000 in silver). Also, as I'm new to the Porsche, what the difference in experience from lets say driving a Cayman or a Boxter S. Hear lots of conflicting views out here.
