I got there and back prety much ok. Got well and truely stuck on the Speed Ferries ramp on the way over, but with a little help I got free and onto the ferry. Only other thing is my drivers side door button decided to stop working on the way back. Did anyone else develop problems on the trip?

Nothing other than a fair amount of grounding out and exhaust scraping when fully laden on some of the uneven roads. Was overall pretty impressed given it was my first proper trip in the Cerb. The only negative was les rozzeurs relieving me of my licence and 750 euros on the way back to Caen... hardly the car's fault.

Dare I ask what speed you were doing? We noticed a few hidding in the trees & bushes but saw them just in time!

My cerbera didn't get there I'm afraid, clutch went shortly after leaving home. probably just as well as if I'd been driving it then those sneeky bu@@ers would have got me for sure. I'd rather spend 750 euros on a new clutch than a fine and possible Ban!!!

I just can't resist an blip every now and again!

Je voyageais à la grande vitesse de 175 bowtie ... ... ... kph paperbag

There was a nice collection of other rosbeefs in a carpark that they had bagged. No-one claimed to have seen anything. We certainly didn't. Shame really as it was a lovely sweeping stretch of dual carriageway. Cerb felt as solid as a rock.

I asked to see some form of official police ID, but one of them was a miserable git who just pointed to the Gendarmerie label on his jacket. I thought it wise not to point out I was wearing a Knight Rider tshirt and to blame it on the car.... hehe

There and back no problem other than a bit of exhaust scraping on the road over the undulations on the back roads at high speed.

And all this after being dragged into action at 19:00 on the Wednesday evening when one of our drivers had to drop out. No prep, just get in and driving

Fantastic car with space to carry lots of essentials for camping. Everyone should get one!!! bounce

Gearbox and clutch slave cylinder seals 2 days before we left. Fixed the seals only for the box to blow in Germany.... frown

No problems, at all.
Was following a mate in his Toyota four wheel drive, so no speeding fines for me.
In fact for the first time I tested the fuel consumption, got 25 MPG, not bad.

Working on a solution now. Don't know the full extent of the damage until I have it apart but it's ranging from anything from £200 and a bit of my time to £1k+. frown
