I'm in love - guess the 430 will have to go

Many thanks to Lamborghini (Max and Dominic) for looking after us - letting me rev up the GallardoSL for all the kids was great
And nice to finally meet JimG - what a nice guy for taking the time to talk to me and everyone else about the P4/5

Just hope the people in the stand were ok after the Aston crashed

going to have to check it out over the London speed bumps next week smile

in fact I'm not even sure it will fit down the ramp into the car park at work

it did look so good - but my god is it loud (totally different league from the 06Gallardo or the 430)

Heh, looking forward to trip some car alarms at the office..? cool

Guess speed bumpers, width restrictions, you name it, will be a major hurdle, but who the fcensoredk cares...

They're pretty special aren't they. I'm looking forward to my US SL in Q1 2008 , hope SH can get me into one before that

It is a fantastic looking car and photo's don't really do it justice IMHO. Lambo Birmingham have a Giallo Midas demo car and the carbon fibre sills and grey wheels really stand out in a positive way. I also think the raised version of the carbon fibre rear wing is the only way to go with this car. I'm seriously tempted to order one for next summer.

Absolutely stunning. Detailing is fantastic.

Not sure about the glossy grey finish on the wheels. Black would look better I reckon.

Seriously tempted. Three things holding me back...

How quickly can you actually get one? I assume the waiting list is +12 months?
Will it be reliable if you track it. Lambo's don't exactly have a reputation for being bulletproof!
Resale - when the time comes to sell will I be staring at a £50k loss?

1. guess it will be quicker
2. should be ok
3. probably

It's interesting - I was waiting to see what the 430LP spec looked like but there is nothing Ferrari can do to make the car look as good as the LP

Traxx, my dad will really envy you!!
He took one look at the SL and said "I want one!"
Loved the Gallardo coupe outside as well -
Looked incredible in white with the Titanium Callisto rims!

And just for interest the SL that went up the hill climb with the smaller carbon wing-

Apologies for the quality of the pics, new camera, too many buttons!
