Never been to the Festival of speed before and didn't know what to expect. We were very lucky with the weather with only a couple of showers. I didn't have a grandstand ticket and it was very busy so didn't get to see much racing but there was plenty of other stuff to see. Anyhoo here are some pics starting with this 96 year old superstar who was racing today...

Some really nice crisp shots, well done.

First time I havent been to the FOS for the last 3 years, those pics just make me wish I was going. Next year it is then.

Some excellent shots as usual. Will get mine sorted soon once i've calmed down after realising that my freshly pro cleaned sensor (thursday afternoon) has a honking great new blob of dirt on it which has ruined 200+ shots i took on Friday.

Some cracking pictures there biggrin

May I ask how many (minus cropping) were straight from the camera? They have a very deep, colourful look which I struggle to achieve in good light, far less overcast!

Nice shots, but I don't understand the modern fascination of cropping photos at 45deg or so. confused

I know it's meant to make the photos more exciting, but for me it makes it look like the photographer is drunk (not that there is anything wrong with being drunk drunk)

Cool, cheers. The Lincoln was awesome. I think they should have rigged up the Fury Stero to turn itself on and off at Random hehe
