Any good pc shooters out at the mo ?

Just finished HL2 episode 1, loved it.Looking for a new shooter and cant see anything that looks worth the dollar.

Any recommendations ?

FEAR is very good, it's one of a very small collection of games that I've played and finished more than once.

Far Cry still looks stunning, but can be unfairly difficult at times.

If you like 1st person stealth shoot 'em ups, Project IGI2 still plays very well.

Have you seen/tried Battlefield 2 or is it just a Half-life style shooter you are after? I'd recommend it over the newer Battlefield version.

FWD, I tried Counterstrike and really didnt get on with it.

Love the whole HL franchise for graphics and playability,FEAR is also very good as is Far cry.

Something new along those lines I guess ?

The ads for games alsways make them sound way better than they really are.

Counterstrike isn't Battlefield 2 though. Find a demo of it and give it a go.

Stalker is decent shooter game. plus you get to see the pirpyat and cherybol without getting radation doses.

I really like the look of Stalker, but my PC is no where near up to spec to play it
