2003 325D Wont Start !

I have the option to buy a BMW 325D on a 2003 plate that has covered 120,000 miles, however it will not run, it cranks over fine with no abnormaol sounds, the service light is on... just wondering if anyone knows how i can get this started, if i can get it to run ill most likely buy it and send it in for a 120k service !

Come on you piston heads, help a desperate man im in need of BMW power !

Sound just like mine. No fuel getting to the engine. Got to the stage of lifting the rear seat out and can see the pump, when it stops raining I will lift it out and see if it works.

Fuel injectors are a `weak` point on these engines, especially if they have been filled up with petrol by mistake and run.... Whip off the engine cover, and remove the leak-off pipes fron the top of the injectors, (remove the silver clips first!), then crank over the engine. If there is alot diesel flowing out of the top of the injector, its buggered. A small amount coming out is okay. One faulty injector is enough to reduce the fuel pressure by alot, and cause a non start....
