Hi,

Got general admission tickets through and a parking pass, planning on going sat & sun but it's clear as mud as to whether we could sleep in our car in the car park. Tried ringing the 'any further questions just ring us' line, which is only ticket sales and couldn't tell me.

The info talks about being able to arrive after 10pm and use the night parking facilities????

Anyone know?

For which event?

I'd imagine the correct answer is that you must leave the circuit overnight. The reality is that for most events there will be competitors and teams staying on the circuit and you may not get noticed. It depends on the event and where you have parked.

Sorry, should have said, for the British GP

It says on the info that you can start to arrive for Sunday from 10pm Saturday and use the night time parking facilities, so that suggests they will be clearing the car parks Saturday evening?

Clear as mud....

Go there on Saturday, leave if they tell you to and sit in the pub until 10pm and come back.

I hope you're going in someone else's car though, I can't see any of yours being a nice place to spend the night (no offence intended, but they just aren't designed for it wink )

They are pretty tough on access for the GP, I'd imagine that if you are in a normal public car park you are quite likely to get cleared out.

There are some pretty basic campsites around that might be worth trying (check out the Silverstone Circuit website).
