I have a 93 cooper green chimp the interior was re-furbished march 2002 at a cost of £2500, I have just had a re-con diff, new cam, mark adams ECU, new pads(front and rear), and a full service all done at penninsula, it has a full service history and has completed 53,000 miles. I have just been put on a four day week and WIFE thinks the car may have to go how much do you think it's worth??????
Or has anyone got any part time jobs fri, sat, sun in the bedford area so I can keep my baby?

If you don't have your Chim to occupy the extra day you're only going to spend money another way. Sell the Mini.

Seriously - I hope it turns around for you soon.

Look on www.autotrader.co.uk to get a feel for its value. Ignore the more expensive one's - they'll be there next week. As they get older condition is everything. Is it a HC, full leather?

I'd say £11-12k if it's average, but you might get lucky, it's the best time of year to be selling if you have to.

Sounds long term then

No idea on the Mini. They seem to be holding values really well, though. If you bought it new you could have done a lot worse.

I know nothing about where you work, but I've experienced 4 (&3) day weeks in the past where I work and they didn't last forever. Getting rid of both cars is going to be a loss in itself if the work comes back in 2 months.

Just been on the go job website - applied for a few
Its the wife thats more concerned about money, i said we should sell the mini and the kids first and keep the TVR but for some reason she was reluctant to sell the kids-can't understand why!!!!!
