Just received a letter from Drivestyle about some offers, but it also says "I am assured this week that a positive announcement re future production of TVR is imminent."

Any ideas what it is ?

With respect, I find it very annoying when anyone says "trust me" with out backing it up with something to base that trust on.

I've heard the odd rumbling that things are moving in the right direction, but until things are properly sorted there won't be any formal announcements of anything. If true, that would seem a sensible approach, and removed from what we have become used to.

Guess we'll all just have to wait and see if anything emerges.

Perhaps they've found someone to make the badges.

Then it's just a matter of engineering the bit behind the badge. rolleyes

ok lets put it this way...adam burdette an d his croneys are done..gone....etc etc they have no way of producing a car let alone paying NS for the business. the american dealers they had set up are running a mile from burdette....its all game over.

Is this really fact?
I'm not disputing it, but haven't seen it published anywhere.

ns has always remained as the owner,,, the usa duo, supposedly only bought the rights to certain markets, and an eventual buy out option... all in the press, admittedly european press interviews with ns.

fantasy land stuff.

I can tell you that the Oxley's were seen at Drivestyle a couple of weeks ago "having lunch in the cafe next door"

Drivestyle have secured the final stock form the factory and are offering a number of new , well unregistered, cars for sale, im quite tempted by the Tuscan convertable (I havn'e fallen out wiht my Tuscan yet and would not wish to part just yet!)

I'm not holding my breath about an anouncement though ( In their defence Drivestyle have stuck with the TVR brand through the difficulties, yes I know they have a vested interest having just bought the franchise before the demise)

The only positive news about TVR would be that the Russian has finally accepted that he knows nothing about car manufacturing and sold the entire thing to someone with a passion for TVR and an ounce of commercial knowhow, however in view of the money he has lost (if true) I suspect he will hold on to everything until the bitter and sad end.....

Good to see someone other than myself and few others saw through the shovels full of bullshit that they threw out every couple of months!

That sounds like the good news that they are refering too is those cars that where held at midlands
