I don't normally get much time to post when i'm at work, no internet at home, but I'm away still at work in India, so I have plenty of time on my hands in the hotel room, I'm missing my Ro, I hope she's alright lol, I had plenty of offers to take care of her, I think not LOL

I know the feeling Gelf, I'm out here in Germany with work for the forseeable future and the ro's locked up in storage back in the UK, plenty of offers to babysit it while I was gone but I'd end up getting piccies of it upside down in a field has I let them talk me into that laugh

Had I been staying in a quieter neighbourhood over here I would have brought it over with me, but I'm staying right bang in the centre of the city of Aachen so not the best spot to be leaving a car like the 'ro outside...so I just have to be patient in the meantime wink

Yup, I'm about 45mins from the ring, but the area our crowd have their corporate apartment in isn't the best (every time you tell the locals you stay at Kaiserplatz they look shocked and the first thing they normally say is drug-hole ha ha), so you can understand my reasoning for not having the 'ro out here with me - put it this way I didn't even feel it was safe enough to bring my wee 1.3CDTI Corsa out with me laugh

The length of my stay out here just now is uncertain, but likely to be at least through July if not longer...there may be a chance of me going back to Ireland for a couple of days near the end of July to do some upgrade to one of our customers out there, then back out here before I go on my summer hols at start of August - so if that all happens as planned then I'm intending to bring the 'ro out here for that short period of time at the end of July and have some fun with it on the 'ring wink

I know what you mean about the traffic lights, the city itself is confusing the first time you drive around it due to the one way streets and bus/taxi areas, but once you suss out that there's basically 2 ring roads - an inner and an outer one it's pretty easy to find your way around, and to be honest the last month out here without a car and having to use public transport has shown me that the German public transport network is soooo damn good compared to what I remember back home smile

I used to have a nice underground car park under my appartment block in Germany...

Know what you mean about the traffic lights. The ones in my town sensed you were speeding and turned all the lights red up ahead "Ve ar not Vatching you"

I'm in Oman with Her Majesty's RAF until the end of july and missing my baby.
I just want to get back now so i can fit her with her new spoiler and take her for a good long dust off.
Also had many offers to 'look after' her but wisely turned them all down! lol
