Hi All

Just put a deposit down on a loverly tuscan s in reflex charcoal and I am so excited. I'll pick it up sometime next week once some paintwork has been done.

I'm wondering if anyone in the Hemel Hempstead/Watford area wants to meet up to discuss the finer points of owning and running one of these beasts in exchange for beer one evening/day ? I'd love to pick someones brains so i know what i am really doing with this awesome beast.
Also does anyone here go to the TVRCC club meets in Baldock each month ? Whats it like ? Is it good fun ?

Stuart

Hi Stuart

I'm in St.Albans, and currently hunting for a Tuscan, so when you eventually find someone to take your free beer, I wouldn't mind tagging along to hear the stuff I perhaps don't want to hear! I can buy my own beer of course! hehe

Congratulations on joining the ranks of the Tuscaneers.

You will love and hate your car at times in equal measures but when you drive just smile!!!!

Hi Stuart. I work in Welwyn and would be happy to let you know how I've got on with mine. I'm sure you'll have plenty of volunteers - I can't imagine any owner would have trouble talking about their P&J!
The Baldock TVRCC meeting is usually very well attended and worthwhile visiting. There's a few Tuscan owners at most meetings.

I don't live in Hemel but I'm at most of the meets in Baldock as I work with the RO for Herts and Beds.

The meets have been growing since Grumpy Bear (Mal) started organising them. I've owned a TVR for over 4 years now (Chim and now a Tuscan) and was well chuffed when Mal got a TVR and decided to be RO. He's quite the organiser and I think the meets will only get better as we have a number of events lined up. There was at least 5 Tuscans at the last meet I went to in May (last 1 was on Fathers day so couldn't get there).

You'll easily get people chatting about their cars, especially me as I've had a couple of problems with the doors since I got mine. As long as you know there will be times when you'll hate your car you'll be fine as you'll love it more of the time. It gets frustrating some times. Mine is off the road as it's an MOT failure if both doors won't open and I'm waiting for an evenng where I have spare time and dry weather to try and fix the passenger door which refuses to open (think it's the solenoid and now have a new one to fit).

I still look at it in the garage, just wish I could drive it.

Come along to a meet. You can contact Mal through here under Grumpy Bear and he'll let you know the meet times and places.

Cheers
