Just to keep you up to date with info on the VXR8, here is the dbA Chart, Video file and a picture of the tail pipes.

From where was that measured? Normal static trackday measurement as I remember is 0.5m @ 45 degrees (from the exhaust tip).

Yes, standard track day static position..........we want to do "drive by" as well but there is no official set up for this.

My old Caterham Fireblade was 96dbA @ 0.5 @ 45 and that was just about right for road presence without being totally antisocial.
So on paper that looks really nicely judged
