S-Hants TVRs to Goodwood 30th
Discussion
A few of us are having run over to Goodwood to watch the TVRCC Sprint championship on Saturday, this is an event we have done for the past few years and is an excellent free day out, we don`t start to early and have nice little
on the way and watch the afternoon session, feel free to join us if you wish, We will be meeting at WICKHAM SQUARE at 10.30ish for a 10.45 getaway Our scenic route will take about an hour or so. See you there? Tony
Obviously if it is raining excessively, (pissing it down) then due to the nature of our runs we will cancel, tip toeing around is not in my vocabulary

Tony,
I've mentioned this to the HTVRCC crew already but probably can't make it coz of a few things, I guess theyre more than welcome cominmg along with you if they wish? Just wanted to ask before I mention it to them.

The Car Club crew are always welcome on our runs if they want to come along,(A PITY THAT IS NOT RECEIPRECATED) some of "your" members find them a bit to "spirited" though I've mentioned this to the HTVRCC crew already but probably can't make it coz of a few things, I guess theyre more than welcome cominmg along with you if they wish? I will keep an eye on both sites
and may change the meeting point to the Wickham community centre car park when the numbers get to 15/20 cars.davido140 said:
If the weather is good I will be up for that! If you dont mind a new face tagging along?
Stupid question where's Wickham Square? I roughly know where Wickham is (Near Fareham right?) and Im sure I can find my way there with the Sat Nav.
No problem, the more the merrier, post code for Wickham square PO17 5JG, however if the numbers continue to rise we will meet just around the corner at the Commuinty centre car park in Mill Lane PO17 5AL, i will keep every one posted Stupid question where's Wickham Square? Does anyone have a timetable for the day?
Probabily the same as the other years?Practice 8.00ish to 10ish
Timed laps a couple of runs in the morning, and a couple in the afternoon, normally arounds 90 being timed, not all TVR`s mind

There might be more details on the Car Club site?

A PITY THAT IS NOT RECIPROCATED
I never said it wasn't Tony, I remember inviting you a while back to the meets/runs, and u said they were not in your taste.I generally dont post the monthly meets on PH as all members have access to the club forum and thats who I do this for, but if you wish to come along you're all more than welcome, its just the only difference would be that non members are not covered by the static public liability insurance.
I'll put a link up to this thread on our forum
Lets hope its sunshine...altho the weather hasn't been on our side this year yet!As I said I doubt I'll be there, maybe doing a bit of Landscape gardening before the neighbours pinch all my rocks! Lisa needs a new car, and I have the wedge to sort out, and then we're off to someones wedding party in the afternoon.
Enjoy

If you want me to do a route map to your requirements and a tomtom file to send out to people please let me know Tony
No thanks Paul, the route may change depending on numbers, i will brief them in the car park, any way remeber this?Originally posted by unrepentant
Satnav?. Satnav is something for women and gay men with no sense of direction. Not for TVR drivers.
