One of my first memories of the Griff
was on tv, an "Ocean Haze" Griff
was in a film with Rick Mayell
one particluar scene he drove it along
an empty beach. To say it was stunning
would be an understatment
Anyone seen the film and know the name of it?
I would love to watch it again

the car looked great,

was nowhere near as long as I remember
I believe sadly thats properly my memory
I wander if the car is still out there
must be on its second chassis !!!

Dont be too embarrassed-Abba were okay.....wheres me coat...?

I believe the car is still around as it was up for sale recently IIRC......a little pricey too.....

Yes its FFGs car (as opposed to the FFG car which is Mrs FFGs car - if you see what I mean ) - definately not for sale but is a little poorly at the moment ....

Don't think waxoyl would have helped. Anyway, it was re-chassised in 2001 with a 500 chassis ad running gear and is near immaculate now. Shame about the electrics.
