CDR23 Question

Does anyone know if the CDR23 in the face lift 996 can play MP3s?

Yep. No - it can't. The CDR-23 was the bottom of the range headunit. They did an upgrade to a M***-XX summat that did play MP3s.

Be warned - do not think you can just swap out the headunit. MY03 cars on featured a MOST bus for shipping sound about - which means the majority of headunits cannot be fitted to MY03 on cars. Its a PITA. Becker have not yet released Becker-branded MOST compatible units either...otherwise I'd have swapped out my crappy CDR-23 years ago!

Damn, I have a Becker Monza in my 2000MY C4, so I guess that isnt MOST compatible
