Just had my car fully set up on Geo (not sure if this is the correct spelling!) by the Gazman, and i must say it has totally transformed the car. The car has stopped bump steering, doesn't tram line and change lanes by itself like it used to and it actually feels like it's on rails round the bends. Best £100 ive spent on the car and would fully recommend it. Got the car up to 160 last night (on a runway) and it felt as steady as a rock!

He lives down south but i know he spends a few days in the northwest fitting Gaz shocks etc.. He can be contacted through Torque RVT in Middlewich (North West). This is where he did the set up last week (at night). Torque RVT number 01606 831244.

Glad to hear that it's made a difference. I'm still waiting for my Gaz Golds to arrive at TrackvRoad so they can fit them.

It was worth all the cursing and hanging around that wet Wednesday night then wink

P.S. My gear stick came off in my hand about 5 minutes after we parted on the M6!!

P.P.S. Where's the runway in Wigan??

Worth the wait?......id have to say yes despite being in the garage for 7 hours again! I bet you can't wait to get the shocks and set up done.
PS - it was the same runway as you were on when you broke at 130 and the car was all over the place.....remember? ;-)

Excellent news, does this mean you are not selling up then Stevo??

Shocks and proper set up are next on my list once I save up some pennies again, not sure quite where to pitch my budget though. Fubar says his Intrax are awesome but then they have a pricetag to match - am sure NickCCC said that there were some new "budget" Ohlins around at about £1300, anyone know about them?

The cars up for £12.5K which i think is reasonable considering the full new paint job and new clutch. So i think ill be keeping it as im not prepared to go any lower despite cars going for less. Ill probably be at the next Cerburgring at this rate! Although it deffo has to go at some point as im looking to emigrate in 12 months. Im also away in August so can't make the next big event and id of loved to of raced one of thoses porkers - i hope someone is videoing the event!
