Turbo SE Flatnose
Discussion
I'm interested in finding an original mint car. Does anyone know of this car? Maybe I will need to join PCGB again...! (4th time)

Is that the one that Helen Goff had? This is the link to the car when it was sold by Gmund Cars http://www.gmundcars.com/cars/443/930seflatnoseturbo.html
In that photo it seems to be the same one.

It certainly looks like that car. Well spotted! It does look nice in silver...not too sure about the very red interior, but thats not a reason to dismiss the car. The originality and condition is more important to me than anything. I've seen a few white ones, which actually didn't look so appealing at the time, but now white seems to be the new black! Price seems to be about right...I think...

yes agree looks nice, and condition is number one but 40K??seems high to me.
It is pricey, but the condition does look good and maybe the fact that its the ex Porsche UK car plays a part in its value. There's something very cool about a blood red leather interior on a Porsche 911 Turbo... All I need now is some red braces and a mobile phone the size of a dishwasher...

Sure I saw that car in the carpark of Porsche Centre Swindon earlier today!
Sounds right...the dealer is not far from there. I don't know about the price..if the car is mint and original then I would pay about what he is asking. I think I've fallen for it.Edited by Aero8 on Wednesday 27th June 17:02

Do call them to ensure the car is still for sale - they seem slow to mark cars up as "sold". I think the colour combination really suits this car far more than white/can can. But it is 993 TT/ GT3 Mk1 money and I am not sure that these cars will necessarly appreciate any more, but conversely, I doubt they'll depreciate either.
One final point - for an LE, the mileage is quite high - most seem to cover tiny miles. Mileage and number of owners often tend to define the "collectability" of cars.

I sent an email requesting more details and I'm still awaiting a reply..so maybe they are a little slow off the mark. I agree re. the mileage. Ok, for its age its only 3k miles per year, but many do have a lot less. I would be only doing about 1k a year max.
Updated..its still for sale and was being serviced at Dick Lovett yesterday. But the SE is sold..
It does annoy me when you ask for more details and get no reply.

Typical service from them - just what I experienced - but they didn't even bother to respond to me - someone else had to tell me that the car had been sold. That level of customer care is enough to get someone a bad namerubystone said:

owned a 911 turbo LE for about 2yrs.Great car but not easy to live with everyday(tho did manage 18000mls). A very satisfying drivers car with super brakes.Cornered very flat and good fun track day car(though I did spend a bit of time going backwards at knockhill till I understood it!).Good tweek was removal of air con belt. lots of stuff under the passenger floor so only really suitable for dwarfs or kids or really anybody not scared by the flames and banging on the over run ha ha!Dont damage the grills in the back wings cos they arent available and have to be made. Not a car for the softies and all the better for it.could easily be tempted again. It was GP white with black leather.....but this car really isnt about the colour ....just enjoy that driving experience.

silver gives it an almost timeless appearance.
