Driving home tonight in my C4S and went over a hump in the road and heard a loud clunk from the front NS wheel. I have heard it twice since (over 5 miles) before putting it in garage tonight. Normal driving is fine, just on humps.

Any ideas what I'm looking at here? MY02 and done 30k miles.

Possibly drop links - not sure which car it is but most 996's suffer from this.
Good news is its not expensive to sort out.

I have a Carrera 4 996 and recently have been experiencing 'clunks' when going over bumps and potholes at slow-ish speed..

Had the car examined at OPC and was told it was the Anti-roll bar links, which were loose and needed replaced.
Booked it in to get front and rear links replaced. Got the car back yesterday from garage, and it's MUCH better.. feels much more tied down to road than before, and much more direct steering..!

Could be that..?
