Will be out there with one of my sons on the 28/29 July, and from what i have read there are no longer any cameras or video cameras allowed on track. I cant seem to find out why they did this, does any one know as to why???

I believe it was done because too many people were crashing whilst trying to film themselves doing a flying lap.

It is possible to get a permit for a camera. I'm not sure whether it costs and if so what.

Enforcement of the camera ban is very mixed - typically a discrete bulletcam setup would not be noticed - not that I'm suggesting it.

If they catch you with a camera you could get banned.

You still see people doing lap after lap with passengers blatantly carrying camcorders in their hands.
