Position of window mirror relay?
Discussion
In the door, not a nice position.. Its about right in the middle, go in from underneath at the back IIRC. You may be lucky and have the bracket fixed by a self tapper which does make it a lot easier with the loom dangling out
There is also the mirror heater relay in the aux relay panel in the dash, the door mirror relay just does the interchange of up/down movement (switch does +/- & -/+)

Borrowed a super duper multimeter from work, after a trip down the scrappies for the courtesy light delay relay i am gonna tackle the door mirrors and ciggie lighter non working issue.
If the rain stops!
Has anybody got a better copy of the circuit diagram than the one in Heath's book?? .PDF or hardcopy. Will pay the postage and copying costs...??

Found the relay. It was in the bottom of the door! It must have dropped out of the holder and was knocking around the inner door skin.
No wonder the mirrors didn't work!.
Question. I have found another connector that isn't connected to anything and has 12V across it. It reaches to the other end of the door and is the twin connector variety (ie it has just two terminals) - any ideas what its for??.
All the other connectors are accounted for.
