Well after 5 years of ownership, the Triumph Sprint is gone, sold to a guy near Inverness.
Sold it 'cos it simply wasn't being used, 'cos of wee son, house needs finishing, the unpredictable weather up here etc

Sad day as I probably won't get another bike, unless a nice classic comes up maybe, or I can locate my old Honda xl 185s (somewhere in Otterburn), for sentimental reasons, original owner, a friend of mine, now deceased.
A lump in my throat as the Triumph disappeared out the gate....

Chap reckoned it was better than he was expecting too

Missing you already....there's an empty space in the garage...

Might still pop up on here now and again though, help me through it will you.

Keep the faith, you never know circumstances may change. get your house sorted and enjoy your son while he is young.

I quite often pass through Otterburn, so if I see a XL 185, I'll let you know.

Tis a sad and difficult day for you..... However, you have a lovely son, and will soon have a lovely house to boot.....

Now hurry up and get all that sh!t outta the way and get back on two wheels asap!!!!! Otherwise you'll be missing the best days of your life!!

Good luck with the chores!

I've not ridden mine for a fortnight and i'm getting the jitters; I think my adrenalin levels have dropped to dangerously low levels wink

Oh dear god, get on it quick. You'll be an even worse rider the more you stay off it! ;-)
