Need a 968 CS gearbox

Hi all,

Ok so mechanical fukkery by the OPC who did the gearbox has caused it to need replacement 2 years after they fixed it. Do i have any legal recourse on them? do they warrant thier work and for how long?

Oh and does anyone have a second hand box i can buy???

Sorry to hear of your woe's - bloody OPC's!!

Had a problem with the bearings in my 968 CS gearbox a few years back, got it sorted/full rebuild by Competition Transmission Services (http://www.gearboxman.co.uk/) for 750 quid.

Also have a look on the UK 968 forums's (http://www.porsche968uk.co.uk/phpbb/index.php), someone might be able to help or suggest something.

thanks for the infor .. hmm collecting the gearbox in the 968 might prove tricky

and yep ive posted on 968 forum too .. gah typical trackday in a week and a half
