Is the Tequipment brush set any good? The twirly brushes look like they can get to the wheel section behind the brake discs quite well. Worth getting, or better alternatives out there?

I use a product called Viro-sol, water it down into a spray gun, spray onto the wheels leave for a bit then jet wash off. No brushing needed

Unlike wonder wheels etc its made from harmless ingredients so is safe, I use it on the paintwork too...

Cheers will try it, is the jet wash power a little strong for the alloy coating?

I have one of the large Metal Free Wheel Brushes from The Polishing Company (http://www.thepolishingcompany.co.uk).

Cost around £20 which kind of smarts for what boils down to some fibers on a stick, but it does a very good job and is totally safe.

I've used Viro Sol as well, but if you use your car at all believe me you will have to use asponge or soft brush to clean the wheels properly. A jet wash will not get all of your residual brake dust off
