Fantastic idea!
Get some freight back on the railways and off the roads.

Probably origninated in the fact that Oxford's roads are so shite too many minis were getting dinged in transit from the transporters falling into enourmous pot holes....
Still, great to see some freight off the roads, don't hold your breath for it to spread though. (Don't most UK car plants have rail links for continental shipping though?)

Then they realised that if they put people in the empty Minis they could charge a fare. Then they joined all the Minis together to make a coach. Then they rerouted them all through the channel tunnel. Then they re-named them Eurostar and realised they could be perhaps be on to a winner.Unfortunately Railtrack then took control and reintroduced the Allegro as the Mini was, by comparison, unproven. Then they closed the tunnel as it ran under the wrong sort of water and sought lots of Government Money to make the Allegro watertight. We of course all know that it is impossible to stop an Allegro leaking.
