It's a shame, but inevitable in todays big money F1 that smaller teams cannot possibly compete (just watch what happens if all tobacco adverts are banned - even the big boys will have spot of bother)...

Am I right in thinking that they were the only team that had their engineering base outside the UK?

As I understand it, F1 teams do well in the M4/M40 triangle because they are supported by a network of specialists which no other country has.

Ferrari and Minardi are both based in Italy.....

Unfortunately, (I am not a Prost fan), he is going to struggle on. Quite how he can do that with $19million debt and no major sponsor intrigues me.

I think VAG (Audi) will probably buy the team up eventually.
